Romania continues the tradition of national flag participation in one of the largest international fairs for subcontracting, electrical engineering industry, machine building and automation, Hannover Messe 2018.
During the five-day exhibition, from April 23-27, the participating Romanian companies exhibited a wide range of products, from parts and subassemblies cast or processed by various methods (lathe, milling, etc.), to parts transport solutions, automation and control solutions, and to control plant and equipment for oil and power applications.
The representatives of the companies present in Hanover had the opportunity to expand their market share or to enter new markets in order to reduce their dependence on a limited portfolio. With over 5 million business contacts established during the fair, Hannover Messe attracts leading industry and information technology companies, technology experts and IT service companies.
On an area of 421 sqm, in the national pavilion organized by the Ministry for Business Environment, Commerce and Entrepreneurship in partnership with the Machine Building Industry Employer’s Federation (AFEPA-CM) within the Export Promotion Program financed by the state budget, 29 Romanian companies exhibited.
Hannover Messe is an international fair at the 71st edition dedicated to the machine building and automotive industry. The fair reunited this year about 5,000 exhibitors from 75 countries and approx. 200,000 visitors. The importance of this fair was also marked by the presence of Ms Angela Merkel – Chancellor of Germany and Mr Enrique Peña Nieto – Mexico Presiden.
