PRESS RELEASE
Ministry for Business Environment, Commerce and Entrepreneurship published the drafts for the Applicant’s Guide and the Start-Up Nation Implementation Procedure, 2018 edition. The documents can be found on the Ministry for the Business Environment, Commerce and Entrepreneurship’s Directorate for Entrepreneurship and SME Programs website – www.aippimm.ro.
“This year’s Start-Up Nation edition gives equal opportunities to production and service projects, offering an advantage to entrepreneurs in areas with low SME density. We will have unitary enforcement rules for all agencies and all banking partners, because we have learned from the 2017experience”, Minister Ştefan-Radu Oprea said.
Novelties in the implementation of the 2018 program refer to:
– an advance payment of up to 30%, upon the request of the beneficiary;
– simplifying the procurement procedure;
– simplifying the business plan by eliminating financial projections.
“The Start-Up Nation Program is likely to motivate those who start their business. The Governance Program also includes measures complementary to the Start-Up Nation Program, precisely for SMEs to be supported at all stages of business growth. At the same time, we are preparing the Law on Business Incubators, which will soon enter into public debate”, Ștefan -Radu Oprea said.
